Help for using new base Version 3

This base station allows faster pairing of call points and detectors to the base station. When you press button B on the base station it puts the base in Programming mode. Make sure you press B again after programming and select ‘Normal Mode’

As this is an upgraded version of the software only units manufactured with the serial numbers above D01540 ( check the barcode on the unit which gives the serial number) will be able to be programmed using mode 2 Fast program. All units that barcode starts with A or D below xxxxx will not be able to work in mode 2 and so the base will have to be reverted to mode 1 (see below how to do that)

Check units are compatible

If units direct form the factory and base is in pairing mode. Press buttons B&C together on the unit.

If the units are not from the factory and are reused then put them back to default settings here is a video on how to do that.

Pairing using older Mode 1 method

If you have older units that need to be added to the base station then you need to revert to mode 1 operation. To do this please watch this video new video required
