Are your alarms compliant with BS 5839-1?
No – BS 5839-1 is a British Standard that applies to fixed fire alarm systems, which are commissioned once installed and remain in a permanent position. Temporary wireless fire alarm systems, however, are designed to be frequently relocated as sites change, and therefore are not required to comply with BS 5839-1.
